HJ Education was founded by Dr. Huang and his wife. The company name is taken from the combination of the first letters of the two founders’ surnames – Huang and Jin, that is, HJ.

HJ Education was founded by Dr. Huang and his wife. The company name is derived from the initials of the two founders’ surnames, Huang and Jin, or HJ. Both founders have rich educational backgrounds, having received a Ph.D. in Engineering and a Master’s degree in Psychology from Purdue University, a Master’s degree from the University of Southern California (USC), a Master’s degree from Indiana University Bloomington (IUB), and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD).
